Pre-Season Update

Billy Davies and his Nottingham Forest players are back on English soil after spending almost a week at a training camp in Portugal.

A 22-man squad stayed for six days at Barrington's sports complex in the Algarve, where they trained twice-a-day in sweltering temperatures.

They also played their first game of pre-season, beating SCO Olhanense 2-1 on Saturday evening thanks to first half goals from Robert Earnshaw and Matt Thornhill.

The Reds will be match action again on Wednesday when they face Tranmere at Prenton Park and Mansfield at Field Mill (both games kick-off at 7.30pm).

The remainder of Forest's pre-season campaign is as follows:

Saturday, July 24 v Peterborough at London Road (kick-off 3pm)

Saturday, July 24 v Kidderminster Harriers at Aggborough (kick-off 3pm)

Wednesday, July 28 v Lyon at The City Ground (kick-off 7.30pm)

Saturday, July 31 v Swindon at The County Ground (kick-off 3pm)

Tickets for the Lyon game are available now.
