Earnie: "Enjoy The Pressure"

Robert Earnshaw insists Nottingham Forest should enjoy the pressure that comes with being tipped for another tilt at promotion.

The Reds are strongly fancied by the bookies to mount a challenge for promotion ahead of the new npower Championship campaign after last season's third-placed finish.

And striker Earnshaw believes Forest can use the weight of expectation on their shoulders as a motivating force.

Speaking to Forest Player from the club's Portuguese training HQ, last season's leading scorer said: "It's going to be hard to live with and hard to live up to as well.

"But I think you need that kind of pressure, to keep us at the level we were.

"That's the level we've got to aim for, with the same energy, quality and momentum that we had last season.

"We had runs of games where we just didn't look like losing - that's what we've got to aim for.

"We probably will be one of the favourites and that's justified because we've got a good squad with good players and it's a good club.

"We've got to take it on board and almost enjoy it I think. That's the best way to deal with it - enjoy taking the pressure and look to go out there and do your best."
