Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies will check on players nursing knocks before finalising his squad for tomorrow's clash with Bristol City at Ashton Gate (kick-off 3pm).

Forest emerged from Monday's 1-0 defeat with a couple of players nursing minor fitness concerns.

The problems are not serious but with two games in three days over the Easter period, Davies will assess their condition before completing his preparations.

He told us: "We've got one or two bumps and bruises that we'll check out but hopefully we'll have the same squad."

The Reds will be without Paul McKenna, who will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury, and Julian Bennett, who is continuing his rehabilitation from a knee problem.
