Nottingham Forest will go in search of their 12th successive home Championship win tomorrow against Crystal Palace (kick-off 7.45pm).
And the game will see Billy Davies pit his wits against one of the previous incumbents of the City Ground hot-seat.
Paul Hart was appointed manager of Palace earlier this month following Neil Warnock's switch to Queens Park Rangers.
He has been charged with the job of keeping the South London club in the Championship but they dropped into the bottom three at the weekend after relinquishing a two-goal lead at Blackpool in drawing 2-2.
Forest cemented their place in third spot in the table with a 1-0 home win over Peterborough on Saturday.
Robert Earnshaw's first half goal - his 13th of the season - sealed The Reds' latest win.
Team news
Loan winger George Boyd returns to the Forest squad after ineligibility ruled him out of Saturday's win over his parent club Peterborough.
But The Reds have doubts surrounding James Perch, who limped out of the Peterborough game after sustaining a first half ankle injury.
Luke Chambers stepped off the bench to replace him at left back and could start against Palace if Perch fails to recover in time.
Palace have doubts surrounding Nathaniel Clyne after the full back, who was recently named the Football League's Young Player of the Year, missed the trip to Blackpool because of a groin problem.
They will definitely be without another defender, Claude Davis, who is serving a three-match ban.
Their key man
Julian Speroni has been hailed as one of the best goalkeepers outside the Premier League.
Palace boss Paul Hart made that assertion after watching the Argentinean pull off a string of superb saves at Blackpool on Saturday.
Palace had to settle for a 2-2 draw despite leading 2-0 at half-time and but for Speroni's ability they have may have Bloomfield Road left empty-handed.
The 30 year old joined Palace from Dundee in 2004 and although he initially played understudy to Gábor Király, he's now first choice in his own right at Selhurst Park.
What the record books say
Forest and Palace have gone head-to-head in league and cup football on no fewer than 55 occasions.
The Reds have recorded 27 victories, while Palace have come out on top 15 times. Seventeen games have finished deadlocked, including their most recent encounter.
It finished 1-1 when the two sides met at Selhurst Park in October, with Forest coming from behind to claim a point.
Darren Ambrose gave Palace the lead five minutes before the break as he hammered a free-kick past Lee Camp, albeit with the aid of the underside of the bar.
Forest had reason to feel aggrieved on the stroke of half-time when Clint Hill somehow escaped a red card after clearly elbowing Paul Anderson. Instead, the Palace defender was booked for squaring up to Chris Gunter, who was allowed cautioned.
But there were celebrations in the Forest camp three minutes into the second half when David McGoldrick hauled them level, sliding unchallenged to apply the finishing touch to Lewis McGugan's cross from the right.
Both sides had chances to snatch victory. McGoldrick dragged a shot wide, while Camp made superb saves to deny Ambrose and former Forest striker Stern John.
