Billy Davies tonight praised the travelling fans for the support they showed for the players with a standing ovation at the end of the game, telling us: "I have to thank the Forest fans today, they were excellent in giving the players a standing ovation and that shows what they thought of the performance."
Forest created some good chances and played some attractive football but once again they were unable to find a win away from home.
Davies told us: "The whole team deserve credit for today's performance, they played with great energy. We should have been in front at half time and we missed some chances but luck was against us today.
"There is plenty to take from the game, there is still great hope and inspiration."
The manager is still optimistic about Forest's chances of getting automatic promotion, adding: "The dream is still there, with nine games remaining there are still plenty of points to play for.
"The important thing is to keep working away, the players are working as hard as they can and are giving the club everything they have.
"We are still in a very healthy position with lots to play for, there is no doubt in my mind that we will win a lot of games between now and the end of the season."
