Nottingham Forest Ladies are set to take on Barnet on Sunday in the sixth round of The FA Women's Cup sponsored by E.ON.
This year's final is to be held at
The City Ground - with Forest Ladies Manager, Lisa Dawkins looking to make history.
"It would be a dream for our players to play at
the City Ground," she said. "A number of the girls are season ticket holders and it is definitely an added motivation. For now, though, we are just concentrating on the game with Barnet and progressing to the next round is motivation enough.
"It would be brilliant to reach The Final, but right now, and I know it's an old cliché, we are taking each game as it comes."
Despite the fact Sunday's opponents Barnet are a League below them Dawkins believes her side cannot afford to rest on their laurels going into the game.
"We are not going to take Barnet lightly," he added. "We haven't played each other for a while, but they are going well in their League and we can't afford to underestimate them.
Should Forest successfully negotiate their way past Barnet then they face a tough semi-final with last year's FA Women's Premier League runners-up Everton. It would represent the first time the club had reached the Semi-Final stage and a landmark achievement.
"We have only reached the quarter-final once before," said Dawkins. "To reach the semi-final, let alone the final, would be fantastic. It would certainly be nice to make a bit of history."
The final, the climax to the women's season, is on Bank Holiday 3rd May and kicks off at 3pm.
Tickets are on sale now from the Forest Ticket Office priced at just £5 for adults and £2.50 for children with special prices for group bookings and charter standard clubs will go free.
