BD On Leicester Defeat

Posted on: Sat 27 Feb 2010

After feeling in control in the first half Billy Davies was disappointed with the way his side reacted after Leicester took the lead.

Forest were unable to get back into the game after two goals in quick succession and then a third put the game out of their reach.

Davies told us: "We looked the more likely team to score in the first half, I felt comfortable with regard to open play but to concede from a set piece is disappointing.

"The game could have gone either way until the first goal, then James Perch had a good opportunity to score and if that had gone in it might have been different.

"But we put ourselves under pressure after their second goal and then we lost all our shape and discipline.

"Our back five competed reasonably well, they did not deserve to lose by three goals.

"But we didn't do enough to cause them problems, we have got to compete physically away from home and we didn't do that today."
