Nottingham Forest could pull off a Manager and Player of the Month double - for the second successive month. Billy Davies has been short-listed for the Coca-Cola Championship Manager of the Month award for January, while midfielder Chris Cohen is among the nominees for the player's title.

Davies and goalkeeper Lee Camp carried off the gongs for December as The Reds were rewarded for their scintillating form.

Davies guided Forest to three Championship wins in January, including the stunning win at West Brom and the five-goal demolition of Queens Park Rangers.

Cohen scored twice during the month, against West Brom and QPR, and consistently produced outstanding displays.

The other nominees for the Manager of the Month award are Dave Jones (Cardiff), Alan Irvine (Sheffield Wednesday) and Nigel Adkins (Scunthorpe).

The other nominees for the Player of the Month award are Garry Thompson (Scunthorpe), Charlie Adam (Blackpool) and Peter Whittingham (Cardiff).

The winner of the Manager of the Month award will be announced during Sky's Soccer Saturday, while Cohen will discover whether he has been successful or not during Saturday's Soccer AM.
