Billy's View - A Big Lesson

Posted on: Sat 30 Jan 2010
Billy Davies remained positive after Nottingham Forest's unbeaten League run finally came to an end at Derby.

He is already looking to the next game and is focussed on the 18 games still remaining before the end of the season.

He said: "This has been a big lesson for these young players, they have done remarkably well and have been on a fantastic run, but this great run was always going to end one day and the most important thing now is to look to the next game."

Of today's performance he felt that his team were not ruthless enough, adding: "It was a scrappy game and we didn't compete enough to win the match. I felt we didn't quite get going, we didn't move the ball around and I am disappointed that we lost too many physical battles.

"But now he have to keep working hard and focus on where we are."
