Battle For Wes

Posted on: Fri 29 Jan 2010

Wes Morgan is battling to be fit for tomorrow's sell-out clash with Derby at Pride Park (kick-off 1pm).

The Nottingham Forest defender is nursing a groin injury he sustained in Tuesday's five-goal rout of Queens Park Rangers.

Morgan has only missed one league game this season and Reds boss Billy Davies will check on his fitness before finalising his side.

Luke Chambers is on stand-by to deputise for him in the centre of defence alongside Kelvin Wilson.

Forest have no other injury concerns and James Perch is again expected to play at left back following loanee Nicky Shorey's return to Aston Villa.
