Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has been nominated for the Coca-Cola Championship Manager of the Month award for October.

Davies led The Reds to three wins and a draw during the month - including a 1-0 success over high-flying Newcastle.

The other nominees for the award are Nigel Pearson of Leicester, Swansea's Paulo Sousa and Dave Jones of Cardiff.

The winner will be announced during Sky's Soccer Saturday programme this weekend.
