Chris Gunter is relishing the prospect of a return to Cardiff on Sunday, even though he doesn't know what sort of reception he will get.

Nottingham Forest's exciting young right back launched his career with Cardiff before completing a big money move to Tottenham.

He has never lined-up against his former club but will be a key figure when The Reds go head-to-head with Dave Jones' side at the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday (kick-off 5pm).

And Gunter told Forest Player: "I'm looking forward to it but the main thing is to go there and try and get three points. That's the bigger picture.

"To be honest I don't care what sort of reception I get. I've moved on from Cardiff, I've improved as a player massively since I left there and as long as the Forest fans back me up I don't really mind."
