Nottingham Forest's Kelvin Wilson has suffered a setback in his bid to recover from an ankle injury.

Wilson has not played yet this season after sustaining the injury in a pre-season game against his former club Notts County.

He resumed light training earlier this week and there were hopes he might be declared fit to return to action next week.

But he suffered a setback yesterday and could be heading for another prolonged spell on the sidelines.

Manager Billy Davies explained: "Unfortunately, Kelvin went over on his ankle again yesterday and could be back to six weeks out."
