Billy Davies will have strengthened defensive options at his disposal for Saturday's trip to Queens Park Rangers.

The Nottingham Forest boss will be able to call upon Luke Chambers (pictured) for the game at Loftus Road after he completed a three-match suspension.

And Davies has also revealed that Kelvin Wilson is on the road to recovery from the ankle injury he sustained in pre-season.

Wilson is unlikely to be fit to face QPR but the central defender is making significant progress.

Davies, who saw his side beaten 4-2 by Watford at The City Ground last night, is still keen to make defensive additions to his squad before the transfer window closes.
