Nottingham Forest have announced a significant increase in season ticket renewals in comparison to the same stage last year.

Sales are 15 per cent up on this time in 2008 and, significantly, almost 20 per cent of this year's renewals have been processed using the club's new on-line facility.

Existing season ticket holders have 11 more days to renew their seats for the 2009-10 campaign at The City Ground.

And the club's Operations Manager Brandon Furse said: "We're delighted with the number of people who have already renewed their season tickets.

"We're particularly pleased that people are making use of the new on-line facility that we have introduced, which obviously saves the need to possibly queue at the Ticket Office.

"Traditionally as the deadline for renewals gets closer the Ticket Office gets increasingly busy.

"By using the on-line facility supporters can purchase their season tickets at their own leisure."

The renewal deadline is on 27th of June with general sale starting on 4th July.
