Nottingham Forest will be offering half price tickets to the Barnsley match for those 1,150 away supporters who attended last Saturday's game against Burnley at Turf Moor.

Manager Billy Davies went on record after the weekend game as saying that Forest supporters at the match deserved an apology for the level of performance.

And now in recognition of the fantastic support, the club have decided on subsidising the cost of admission for the Barnsley game on Saturday April 4 for those fans who purchased Burnley tickets.

Those supporters in question can claim their half price tickets by calling at the Forest Ticket Office or telephoning by 12 noon on Wednesday, April 1.

They will need their booking information from their Burnley tickets to hand in order to claim their concessions.

A Forest spokesman said: "The club wanted to make a gesture to supporters and considered the possibility of free travel but that would have made it difficult to reward fans making their way from other parts of the country."

Adult ticket prices for Barnsley will now be £9.50 instead of £19; seniors and Under 18s will be £5.50 instead of £11 and Under 11s £2.50 instead of £5 and only available to those supporters who travelled to Burnley.

The offer is only available via the Ticket Office counter or telephone line on 0871 226 1980 during opening hours.
