Win Bonus
Colin Calderwood today stressed the importance of Nottingham Forest extending their unbeaten run - with a victory.
The Reds are unbeaten in four matches but after three successive draws, the manager is eyeing-up a win tomorrow when Norwich visit The City Ground (kick-off 5.20pm).
Despite their recent resurgence, Forest remain four points adrift of safety in the Championship.
But with the visit of Norwich followed by a midweek trip to bottom-of-the-table Doncaster and then a home date with Barnsley, the time could not be better for Forest to rediscover their winning touch.
Calderwood told us: "It's important we continue our run but it's also apparent to us that we need a victory, which would make the run even better.
"Continued draws is a little bit of a help but not as much as a couple of wins.
"We need victories, we need home victories and we need victories against teams just above us in the league, which is what Norwich are.
"The best way to close the gap is to beat those teams and we've got an ideal opportunity this weekend.
"It's an important phase of the season for us and I'm glad we're going into it in the sort of form that we're in."
Forest are favourites to claim three points tomorrow against a Norwich side who have lost three of their last four games.
But Calderwood has spent much of this week studying DVDs of Glenn Roeder's side and was impressed by what he saw of them in their 3-2 home defeat at the hands of Swansea last Saturday.
Norwich dominated for long periods but conceded three goals in the space of six minutes.
Calderwood said: "They are a good footballing side - they pass it quickly and are very energetic.
"It's important our focus is not distracted by the fact that some people might feel that, after three defeats in their last four games, Norwich are a poor side or a side that lack confidence but that's not the case from what we've seen."
Half season tickets and 'Five Pack' tickets (an all-one-package for the games against Doncaster, Plymouth, Sheffield Wednesday, QPR and Derby) are on sale now from the Forest Ticket Office; on-line at www.nottinghamforest.co.uk or by calling 0871 226 1980.
