Earnshaw Update
Robert Earnshaw believes he has put himself on course to make his Nottingham Forest comeback against former club Norwich on Saturday.
Earnshaw tested his recovery from the calf injury that has forced him to miss the last two games in training this morning.
He was happy with the way he came through his first full training session in almost a fortnight and hopes to be included in Colin Calderwood's plans for the visit of Norwich.
"I'm okay now," he told Forest. "I trained today and I think I'm available for Saturday.
"We'll see how things go tomorrow and if there's no reaction, everything should be fine and I'll be involved against Norwich.
"Over the last month and a half I've had a couple of injuries but I'm hoping that's all behind me now. I just want to get some games.
"I hate being injured; hate not being able to play and hate coming along to games just to watch.
"I'm one of those guys who needs to be playing and needs to be involved, so you can't imagine how good it feels to be on the verge of a return."
Earnshaw scored 27 goals in 47 appearances for Norwich and reveals: "I had a great time there and have got a lot of fond memories of the club.
"I was there a year-and-half and enjoyed every minute of it - not least because I scored loads of goals."
