Lewis McGugan is poised to hit the Nottingham Forest comeback trail.

The midfielder is expected to return to action in tomorrow's Totesport.com Central Division reserve game against Walsall at The City Ground (kick-off 7pm).

McGugan, who has missed Forest's last nine games with a torn thigh muscle, resumed full training last week and is ready to test his fitness in a game.

Tomorrow's game against Walsall should also see Joe Garner and Paul Anderson continue their returns after injury lay-offs.
