Pressure Gauge
Colin Calderwood believes there is more pressure on Doncaster than his Nottingham Forest side going into tomorrow's crunch games.
Doncaster will be promoted to the Championship for the first time in their history if they beat relegation-threatened Cheltenham at Whaddon Road.
But they will go into the game knowing they can't afford to slip-up with Forest breathing down their necks.
Calderwood's men are just one point adrift and will be promoted themselves if they beat Yeovil at The City Ground (kick-off 3pm) and the South Yorkshire side fail to overcome Cheltenham.
Calderwood told us: "We can't lose in many ways because if things don't go in our favour tomorrow, we've still got the play-offs.
"A lot of people will be looking at the situation and tipping Doncaster to go up automatically and us to finish third - I hope they are wrong.
"But I think there's slightly more pressure on Doncaster, especially if we score an early goal and take the lead while their game is still level because we would then be in the box seat."
While Doncaster will pit their wits against a Cheltenham side still needing to secure their League One, Forest will come against a Yeovil side with little to play for except pride.
The game is, however, a re-run of last season's play-off semi-final, which The Reds famously lost after an extra-ordinary second leg at The City Ground.
Calderwood added: "Doncaster have a tough fixture with Cheltenham battling to avoid relegation ... there's hope there for us.
"We've kept pressing and pushing the teams above us and we've brought a gap that looked insurmountable down very quickly.
"The fact that we're playing Yeovil, who beat us in the play-offs last season, makes it great theatre - a great story-line.
"Teams who have nothing to play for at this stage of the season can have slightly less impetus and desire than a team like us, Doncaster, Carlisle, Cheltenham or Bournemouth.
"It will be an interesting and intriguing afternoon that is sure to ebb and flow but hopefully by 5 o'clock everything will have flowed in our direction."
