Eight Wins Challenge
Colin Calderwood today demanded his Nottingham Forest side produce a 100 per cent end to the season.
The Reds have eight League One games left - starting with tonight's game against promotion rivals Doncaster at The Keepmoat Stadium (kick-off 7.45pm).
Forest's hopes of clinching automatic promotion look remote as they trail second-placed Carlisle by 11 points but Calderwood, who will also take his side to Cumbria on Tuesday, is refusing to give up all hope.
And before setting off for South Yorkshire, the manager told us:
"I always said that I would have a clearer idea of where we're at after Easter but in reality I think it will be after these two games against Doncaster and Carlisle.
"You can go unbeaten and not pick up too many points if all you are doing is drawing games - we must try and win matches.
"Out of the eight left we've probably got to win all eight to give ourselves any chance, to give ourselves the best opportunity.
"We'll be up against tough opposition in Doncaster, who are a thoroughly decent football side who are well-marshalled and drilled by Sean O'Driscoll.
"I know it will be an excellent game of football but we've got to come out on top. People are always talking about must win games but this is definitely one of those - three points wouldn't be a huge step but would get us a little closer to not only Doncaster but also Carlisle.
"Our immediate aim is to get back-to-back victories over Doncaster and Carlisle. What a fillip that would be!"
Calderwood added: "You have to accept that Carlisle have done their job and are in a great position, so all the cards are with them. It is about how they play them from here on in.
"Our intention is still to catch them, so it is win or bust in that sense. We have got to win at Carlisle, definitely. The perfect scenario is six points from our next two games and I believe we are capable of that."
