Colin Calderwood has admitted there are "question marks" over the fitness of Kris Commons ahead of Saturday's trip to Crewe.

The Nottingham Forest midfielder is nursing a groin problem in the wake of Monday's 1-0 defeat at the hands of Carlisle at The City Ground.

He sat out training today and manager Calderwood told us: "We'll have some sort of question mark over Kris until tomorrow."

Luke Chambers remains a doubt as he's still nursing the dead leg that forced him to miss the Carlisle game but Lewis McGugan should be fit to face Crewe, despite taking a knock to an ankle on Monday.

Striker Nathan Tyson has resumed training after missing two games with a hamstring injury and could be involved at the weekend.

Will Hoskins will not be involved as Forest continue to assess the extent of the back injury that has forced him to miss the last three games.
