Forest go out of the FA Cup after being convincingly beaten in the replay by Leicester.

Leicester dominated the first half hour of the game and they were two goals up before Forest began to get back into the game and were looking much better by the break.

An early goal by Leicester in the second half was followed by their fourth a few minutes later and from then Forest never looked like getting back into the game, with not a single shot on target.

Leicester started well and came close from an early corner, which wasn't fully cleared. Neil Danns' powerful shot had Lee Camp beaten but a good block by Guy Moussi stopped the ball going into the top corner.

Leicester were in front after just seven minutes from a cross by Lloyd Dyer, low towards the near post and across the 6-yard box where it hit George Boateng and bounced in for an own goal.

And the Forest defence were in a mess again from another Leicester corner which led to a scramble at the back post where David Nugent couldn't get an angle to turn the ball back and Camp was able to pounce to make the save.

Forest should have got one back when Kasper Schmeichel fumbled Greg Cunningham's cross in from the left. The ball dropped for Robbie Findley who almost impossibly volleyed over the crossbar from just a yard out.

After a frantic start the game slowed down enough for Forest to gain some composure and the travelling Forest fans were in good voice.

Good play from Forest saw Marlon Harewood send Findley racing away down the right and his low cross was turned behind for a corner.

And from the corner, a quick break by Leicester gave them their second goal on the half hour mark. Nugent ran half the length of the field and played the ball to Danns. Lee Peltier made a great run to get on the end of the ball and fire in the cross which was deflected onto the head of Beckford, who turned it in from six yards out.

A good ball in by Findley gave Harewood a chance to get one back but he side-footed it wide from four yards out.

After a break by Leicester, Forest get the ball back the other end and a quick turn and a snap shot from Andy Reid, five minutes before the break, was put out for a corner.

And a free kick, well placed by Reid, gave Forest another chance, with Findley running onto the ball and forcing Schmeichel to tip it over the crossbar.

A good save by Camp in stoppage time prevented them getting a third when Nugent made a break and the ball was crossed to Paul Gallagher who side-footed it towards goal and Camp dived low to make the save.

There were two Forest changes at the break with Jonathan Greening and Boateng taken off and David McGoldrick and Lewis McGugan coming on.

Although Forest started the half brightly, Leicester had increased their goal tally within four minutes. Shcmeichel made a long clearance and Nugent headed the ball on to Jermaine Beckford who got behind Moussi and finished well to send the ball over Camp and into the back of the net.

And Beckford had his hat-trick 11 minutes into the second half when he timed his run to perfection, forcing a great save by Camp with his first effort and firing in the rebound high inside the far post.

Leicester kept the pressure up and had another chance from Danns' snapshot on the run, but Camp got down quickly to parry the ball away.

With the majority of the play around the Forest goal it was surprising that Leicester didn't get a fifth and Gallagher had a go but chipped just over the crossbar.

Beckford was substituted with 11 minutes to go so that he could get the applause from the home supporters for his hat-trick.

And Dexter Blackstock came on at the same time to take the place of Harewood.

With the game surely out of Forest's reach, they missed a late chance when McGoldrick made a break down the left but Reid, with all the time in the world, sent the ball over the top.
