Nottingham Forest created the chances but had to be satisfied with a point at home against a well-organized, attacking Norwich City side.
It was a lively start to the game with some good end-to-end football, but Norwich closed Forest down well and it took a penalty for the home side to take the lead in the 33rd minute. It was an evenly matched first half and Norwich deserved their equalizer just before the break.
Both sides played some good attacking football in the second half but neither was able to find the elusive winner.
