After going behind in the second half Nottingham Forest salvaged a point with an equalizer in the 89th minute. Forest were the dominant side in the first half, defending well and producing a number of good shots on target. They could have had more than just the one goal that separated the two sides at half time. From having control of the game Forest suddenly found themselves behind in the second half when Northampton scored twice within six minutes. But Junior Agogo's late goal put the two sides back on level terms.
