Would definitely subscribe to BD post match comments on Saturday about the Blackpool game being a game we would previously have lost. I felt we had the bulk of possession, and looked the more likely winners. The very fact that some see it as 2 points dropped shows how far we have come in a relatively short space of time. Billy Davies has my full respect, the Forest job has proved too big for a lot of his predecessors, but he has made it his own with an unquestionable will to win, which he is now transmitting to his players. I am confident we will survive this year, then next year, learn from our mistakes, give Billy some substantial financial backing in order that we can turn some of our loan signings into permanent ones. I reckon we can compete at the other end of the championship table next season.

For all the fans that are still not convinced about Billy here are a few stats:
Championship games since BD arrived
Played 19 and resulted in: Won 7, Drawn 5, Lost 7 giving 26 points
The previous 19 Championship games under CC Played 19 and resulted in: Won 3, Drawn 8, Lost 8 giving 17 points
TRENT END PETE
So the tension and drama continues. I must say its not easy being a Forest fan and the script was written for Brett to score against us on Saturday, just as a certain Derby player punished us.
I must add I'm disappointed that we could not get a win at Blackpool, good or bad pitch it was the same for both sets of players, I often think it's an advantage for mistakes to happen at the back and our strikers to take advantage. We should have dealt with it, we all were aware of what we had to deal with at Blackpool. On paper we have better players, we have the best fans and should have got a result. I hope like every other fan Reading do us a favour, but I think that Blackpool was a must win game, I'm disappointed.
On a more positive note as Billy said it could still be a very important point, and we still have a chance of being masters of our own destiny. Good luck to the team, as I keep saying win or lose I will always support and be a Forest fan. Still would like to see Forest players closing/putting the opposition under pressure straight away and not giving the opposition any time and forcing errors.

Well done to Billy and the team for getting us to this position, I reckon without Billy we would by now be in the same position as Charlton or Southampton and already be relegated, altho' to be fair to Southampton I reckon if things on the pitch had just went slightly better for them, they would still have a fair chance of staying up, if you ignore the 10 point deduction that they would have been appealing against for the next 100 years or so.
Now I'm writing this on Sunday and the Norwich v Reading game isn't until tomorrow, but I feel sure that even altho' Reading need 2 wins in their last 2 games to have a fair chance of automatic promotion and Norwich are 3rd bottom, that Reading will not win and save us all from the last day decider v Southampton which has seemed inevitable for a long time.
It also seems to me that Saturday will be a defining moment for Forest because if we get the result to keep us up then I think next year we will be challenging for promotion and could be in the Premiership in August next year, on the other hand if we go down then we are really in the Third Division, however, it may be labelled or more accurately mislabelled and all the financial implications and types of player we can attract or retain etc. that go with that status.
Finally, I'd like to say, I reckon we will get the result we need to stay up and go on from there, but I think it is going to be nailbiting stuff. come on Billy and the boys, "finish the job".

Again the finger nails will be left to grow going into the final game against Southampton. The game at Blackpool might as well have been played on the beach rather than the substandard pitch, but to get a point in such circumstances cannot be argued with I suppose. The saints will be playing for pride, bearing in mind their position, we can only sympathise as another great club bites the dust. Been there got the t-shirt but don't fancy going back thank you!
The game at Blackpool though, as disappointing the result is that we are not yet safe, we are unbeaten in 5 and not a lot of teams can boast that when all the while sitting near the bottom of the league, and with conceding very little goals in the process, it's a funny old game! And then to add salt into the wounds an ex Forest player does the dirty and scores against us just to say thanks for getting rid of me, we have been there before if I remember a certain game against Derby this season.
All supporters need now to unite without a single negative thought in their minds, there is only one result against Southampton. Then with hope to celebrate staying up and not to forget to reflect on a very disappointing and dismal season.

Fact...Being a Forest fan should come with a government health warning. May cause heart problems!
I have had a stressful afternoon, and we should have beaten Blackpool.
Never mind, with a bit more of lday luck, we could be put out of our misery on Monday night, come on Reading. Dont want to have to win our last game, seeing how Southampton put up such a good fight today. Cant rely on Plymouth to beat Barnsley although a draw would do. But not a Barnsley win, but see how they fought against Wolves today!!! ARGGGHHHH.
By the way, does anyone at the Football League have the winning lottery numbers seeing as the last day sees the bottom 6 play each other!!! How did they know?
