National Heart Month

Posted on: Tue 16 Feb 2010

Paul Anderson and Paul McKenna have given their backing to the Robin Hood Bike Ride and are encouraging as many people in Nottinghamshire to sign up to the event on Saturday 13th March and raise vital funds for the nation's heart charity.

The two midfielders along with the club are also supporting National Heart Month, which runs throughout February and is urging people to go Red for Heart by wearing red on February 26th.

Helen Whiteley, BHF Regional Events Organiser, said: "It is wonderful to have Nottingham Forest FC endorse an event which is local to them. Although the players are unable to take part due to footballing commitments, it is fantastic that they have taken time out from their busy schedules to back this event and National Heart Month and support the BHF.

For more information about the event or to sign up, contact 0800 085 2280, email northevents@bhf.org.uk or visit bhf.org.uk/Robinhood
