'Supporting communities through teamwork'

The Forest Factor is an innovative approach to partnership working, bringing together key agencies from the public, private and voluntary sectors for the benefit of people across the city of Nottingham.

Nottingham Forest, Nottingham City Homes and Frank Haslam Milan are working together to provide the funding and delivery of high quality PE, sport and physical activity programmes designed to meet the needs of local communities and neighbourhoods across Nottingham.

'Forest in the city's' qualified coaching team will design and deliver a programme of football related activities throughout 2009 and 2010 in support of Nottingham City's strategy of 'getting more people, more active, more often'.

Funding for the project provided by Nottingham City Homes and Frank Haslam Milan will focus on delivery of children's PE, sport and physical activity in schools, leisure centres and community facilities along with opportunities for young people to access apprenticeships in the construction industry.
